March 2013. We joined with the United Way to help the Dolly Parton Imagination Library by hosting a luncheon. Due to the success of the ABags for Books 2013" event, we will be able to get books for 552 children, double what we are currently providing! One of these books goes to a child every month, free of charge, from birth until he/she turns 5.

September 2013. We presented a $500 check for help in purchasing books for the Bronco Book Club at Cooper Elementary School. Oct. 2013. Spaghetti anyone? We served more than 300 spaghetti dinners, including take-out orders! This will help pay for the 1700 dictionaries we will be giving out to all 3rd grade students in Bella Vista, Bentonville, Pea Ridge, and Gravette. Our Crew!! Dec. 2013. Karen Robbins, Susan Ford. and Bobby Platt delivered books and a check for $500.00 to Jack Eaton of Havenwood. Havenwood is a place where abused women and children take refuge. The check is to be used for a scholarship for one of the women to further her education. When they are ready to move on, the books go with them!
